Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview

Alter-Learning is seeking a motivated Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, candidate sourcing, and talent engagement, with the ability to identify and connect with professionals across technical, creative, marketing, business, and operational roles.

This is a hands-on recruitment position that involves working closely with company leadership and department leads to support the recruitment process from candidate sourcing through interview coordination and follow-up. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Source and identify qualified candidates across technical, creative, marketing, business, and operational roles.
  • Publish and manage job openings across LinkedIn and other relevant recruitment platforms.
  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential candidates through professional networks and sourcing channels.
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess experience, qualifications, and role alignment.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, department leads, and company leadership.
  • Maintain an organized candidate pipeline and ensure timely communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department leads to understand hiring requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Assist with developing and improving job descriptions, candidate communications, and recruitment materials.
  • Support recruitment activities and hiring initiatives for Alter-Learning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to develop a long-term talent network.
  • Contribute to improving recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and the overall candidate experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, candidate sourcing, or a related field.
  • Experience sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn and other professional recruitment platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate experience and qualifications across different professional disciplines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously.
  • Strong follow-up and candidate communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers, department leads, and company leadership.

Desired Skills

  • Experience recruiting for startups, technology companies, or rapidly developing organizations.
  • Experience recruiting for software development, AI, technology, education, marketing, creative, or business roles.
  • Familiarity with recruitment management tools.
  • Experience with proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development.
  • Understanding of employer branding and its role in candidate attraction.
  • Experience working with remote and internationally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with recruitment analytics and candidate pipeline reporting.
  • Experience developing or improving recruitment workflows and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Compensation

Consultant shall be paid an hourly rate starting from $45 per hour and such compensation shall be under form of (ISO) and or (NSO) Incentive Stock options issued by the company, based on the agreement between the company and consultant.
