Position Overview: Alter-Learning is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects that enhance our educational technology platform. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented leader with a passion for education and a track record of successfully managing complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with Alter-Learning’s strategic goals.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, marketing, and educational experts, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Maintain documentation of project processes, decisions, and lessons learned for future reference.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the education or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project).

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.
  • Knowledge of educational technology trends and the K-12 education landscape.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Education, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Experience in EdTech or related industries is highly desirable.
