Position Overview

Alter Learning is searching for a talented WordPress Front-End Developer with strong experience in Elementor. Initially, you’ll work extensively with Elementor to design and implement user-friendly interfaces, but we are planning to transition to pure HTML and CSS in the future. • Collaborate with the design team to translate mockups and wireframes into functional web pages.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and accessibility.
  • Transition to using pure HTML and CSS for future projects, moving away from Elementor as needed.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address any layout or design issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web design, WordPress development, and front-end technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing work with Elementor.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with the ability to create clean and maintainable code.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with WordPress theme development and customization.
  • Experience optimizing websites for performance and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and how to implement them.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience transitioning from page builders like Elementor to custom-coded solutions.
