Job Summary/Objective:
Alter-Learning Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Unreal Artist to join our remote team. As an Unreal Artist, you will be responsible for creating virtual environments using Unreal Engine for our animation TV series projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop visually stunning and high-quality lighting setups environments, creating atmosphere, mood, and realism.
- Utilize industry-standard 3D packages such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine to create and implement lighting assets into the game engine.
- Collaborate closely with the art and design teams to understand the project’s creative vision and ensure lighting aligns with the desired aesthetic and mood.
- Implement lighting techniques, including dynamic and static lighting, light baking, and global illumination, to enhance the visual quality of the environments.
- Provide support and documentation for the art and design teams regarding lighting and assets implementation and technical processes.
- Meet project deadlines and milestones, managing time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks promptly.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies related to lighting in games and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual impact of our games.
Qualifications:
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating visually stunning 3D projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D packages such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine.
- Experience in lighting techniques, including dynamic and static lighting, light baking, and global illumination.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional working level of English, both written and verbal.
- Understanding art principles, technical art pipelines, and game development best practices.
- Ability to meet project deadlines under tight schedules and manage time effectively.
