Sales Manager – Educational Technology & Strategic Partnerships

Position Overview

At Alter‑Learning, we develop immersive, STEAM‑based educational games and platforms that ignite curiosity in K–12 learners and empower educators. We seek a Sales Manager to build and drive our global revenue engine, forge strategic partnerships, and help scale our mission to transform how children learn through play.

Your Mission

Turn market opportunities into meaningful impact — by leading sales strategy, securing key accounts, and cultivating partner relationships that amplify our platform worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy for educational institutions, distributors, EdTech partners, and corporate programs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Identify, engage and onboard strategic partners (schools, districts, resellers, content providers) and build long‑term relationships.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Maintain and grow a sales pipeline using CRM tools; track metrics, forecast revenue, and report to leadership.
  • Participate in trade shows, webinars, demos, and events to represent Alter‑Learning and generate leads.
  • Provide market feedback to the product and development teams, helping shape our roadmap and partnerships.
  • Mentor sales associates or regional reps as the function scales — building a high‑performance sales culture.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in EdTech, SaaS or digital learning environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing major deals (school systems, districts, enterprise clients).
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships across multiple stakeholders—from C‑level executives to educators and procurement teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in international markets and comfortable working in a remote, global environment.
  • Strategic thinker, self‑starter, results oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced startup growth.
  • Passion for education, gamification, and leveraging technology to make learning more engaging and accessible.

Why Join Alter‑Learning?

  • Be part of a mission‑driven company that is making a real difference in K–12 education worldwide.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, international team of educators, designers, developers, and innovators.
  • Help shape the future of learning — empowering students, supporting teachers, and driving positive change.
  • Remote‑friendly role — we welcome candidates from anywhere.
  • Inclusive, diverse, and dynamic work environment where creativity and impact matter.
