About Us
AAK Tele-Science, Inc. is managing the recruitment process for our client in the EU, who is seeking a Mid-Level Software Architect to join their team. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level software systems, with a strong focus on modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
This position combines hands-on development with architectural leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that align with business goals.
Your Role
As Mid-Level Software Architect, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable web-based applications and components.
- Define modular architectures and develop reusable components for content management platforms.
- Analyse, integrate and optimise multiple information systems and data sources.
- Conduct data modelling and in-depth data analysis.
- Produce clear and detailed technical and architectural documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide technical input throughout testing, deployment, documentation and evaluation phases.
- Assess and redesign existing architectures to enable cloud migration and modernization.
- Support test execution, deployment and troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and system documentation efforts.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, frameworks and design patterns.
- Proven experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures.
- Solid background in application design and enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Experience with build and automation tools (Gradle, Jenkins) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and quality-oriented mindset.
