Position Overview
Alter Learning is seeking an experienced Program Developer with a strong background in MAC-OS development and Unity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our educational HUB and games are fully compatible with MAC-OS, delivering a seamless experience to our users. This role will involve close collaboration with our game development and technical teams to optimize performance, implement updates, and troubleshoot issues specific to the MAC-OS environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Alter Learning HUB application, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance on MAC-OS.
- Collaborate with game developers to ensure Unity-based games are optimized and fully functional on MAC-OS.
- Implement updates and patches to the HUB and games, addressing any MAC-OS-specific issues.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging on MAC-OS devices to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhancements into the HUB and games.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for MAC-OS users.
- Stay updated on the latest MAC-OS development tools, technologies, and best practices.
Required Hard Skills
- Proven experience in MAC-OS development, with a strong portfolio of applications or games.
- Proficiency in Unity, with a deep understanding of its functionalities and integration with MAC-OS.
- Strong knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode for MAC-OS development.
- Experience with optimizing performance and ensuring compatibility on different MAC-OS versions.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of game development pipelines and workflows, particularly in an educational or STEAM context.
