Agile Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Agile Scrum Master to join our team and drive Agile best practices across projects. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate collaboration, manage the Scrum process, and remove any impediments that hinder the team’s progress. You will act as a servant-leader, enabling the development team to achieve goals while fostering continuous improvement and Agility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile Practices & Ceremonies
    • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
    • Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and Agile frameworks.
    • Coordinate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Team Collaboration & Coaching
    • Foster collaboration among cross-functional team members.
    • Act as a coach and mentor to promote continuous improvement and self-organization.
    • Support the team in understanding and implementing Agile methodologies effectively.
  • Remove Impediments
    • Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth progress of sprints.
    • Act as a shield to the team from external interruptions and distractions.
  • Metrics & Reporting
    • Track key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress.
    • Provide transparency on team performance and progress to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
    • Identify risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
    • Promote a culture of feedback and continuous learning to improve processes.

SKills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 0-3 of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
    • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
    • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
    • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
    • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
