Operations Manager – EdTech & Gamified Learning

At Alter-Learning, we create immersive, STEAM-based educational games that inspire K–12 students, empower teachers, and support modern curriculum goals.
We’re seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to coordinate daily operations, strengthen partnerships, and ensure smooth execution across all teams — bringing our gamified learning experiences to classrooms worldwide.

Your Mission

Transform Alter-Learning’s educational vision into seamless execution — ensuring every program, platform, and partnership runs efficiently and with measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Partnership Coordination

  • Manage relationships with schools, educators, and content creators to support adoption and engagement.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and support for educators and institutional partners.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to align educational goals with platform innovation.
  • Track project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables to ensure program success.

Operational Excellence

  • Design and improve workflows, SOPs, and scalable systems to optimize team performance.
  • Maintain operational documentation and internal reporting tools.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and develop proactive solutions to improve output and collaboration.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate communication between departments — product, design, tech, and marketing.
  • Ensure all teams have the resources and information needed to meet their objectives.
  • Lead regular operations syncs to review progress and remove blockers.

Systems & Compliance

  • Oversee internal tools (CRM, project management, analytics) to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with education and privacy regulations (FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Maintain integrity and consistency across platforms and reporting systems.

Reporting & Insights

  • Produce progress dashboards and reports for executive updates and strategic planning.
  • Support leadership with data-driven insights on project performance, partnerships, and growth.

What You Bring

  • 4–6 years of experience in operations, project management, or program coordination (EdTech, education, or nonprofit background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of K–12 education systems, STEAM-based learning, and digital classrooms.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (Asana, Trello, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace).
  • Bonus: experience with gamified learning, educator onboarding, or LMS platforms.

Why Join Alter-Learning?

  • Be part of a mission-driven EdTech startup redefining how students learn through play, creativity, and technology.
  • Help scale gamified STEAM education that reaches students, teachers, and districts across the globe.
  • Work with a passionate, diverse team committed to impact, innovation, and inclusion.
